Community

Sherwin-Williams is committed to an active and inclusive stakeholder engagement process. Under the guidance of EPA, Sherwin-Williams has implemented an ongoing stakeholder outreach program designed to share information and obtain public input during the site investigation and remedial action phases of the project.

Throughout the project, the Sherwin-Williams team has consistently engaged federal, state and local stakeholders. The team regularly meets with Gibbsboro and Voorhees leaders and emergency response professionals to provide updates on the project, information on construction activities, and to address community concerns. In addition, the Sherwin-Williams team works directly with the individual property owners throughout the remediation process to obtain input and respectfully consider their concerns.

As part of the property restoration plan and working with the Borough, Sherwin-Williams constructed multi-purpose trails and streetscape improvements on the Gibbsboro-owned property on Route 561 following remediation.
